Strategic Finance Associate

About the role

The Strategic Finance Associate will support financial and strategic analysis, forecasting and budgeting, management and investor reporting, and M&A and corporate development activities.

This is an in-person role based in our New York office, with the expectation of being onsite 4+ days per week.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a strategic thought partner to executives and department heads, leading creation of financial and data analyses with impactful insights and recommendations
• Track, analyze, and forecast key business/financial KPIs with aim of uncovering trends and assessing current/future business risks and opportunities
• Help lead the quarterly financial forecast and budget planning process, working in close partnership with executives and department leaders
• Prepare management and investor reporting, including materials for Board of Directors meetings
• Work closely with the leadership team and Board of Directors on top-priority corporate strategy and M&A initiatives
• Identify and drive initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting, reporting, procurement, and capital allocation tools and systems

About You

• 2+ years experience in strategic finance, FP&A, private equity, venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, public markets investing, or equity research
• Strong analytical skills and experience building integrated financial models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain business partner relationships at all levels within the organization
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 annually. This range reflects the base pay that Loop reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of hire. Actual compensation will depend on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, location, and business needs.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus and equity. This role is also eligible for Loop's benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, paid holidays, and parental leave.
