Strategic Communications Specialist

About the role

To perform effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, such as a merger or split-up, our clients need a professional who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before.
• Use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and a wide array of engineering professionals to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement.
• Work on a path forward with your clients once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with strategic communications or project management
• 3+ years of experience in engineering or science management, operations research analysis, or financial or cost analysis field
• Experience with Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate, and MS Office, including PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
• Experience working with executive-level clients
• Pay strict attention to detail, and be flexible, proactive, and adaptable to changing client priorities
• Ability to author briefings and formulate responses to data calls

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technology field

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
