About the role
We are seeking a relentless, elite strategic seller to own and grow a strategic territory. This is not a relationship-maintenance role. You will hunt, build, and close—driving net-new logo acquisition, expanding major accounts, and competing to win in one of the most mission-critical categories in enterprise technology: data security and AI-powered resilience.
Responsibilities

- Build, manage, and advance a high-value, strategic pipeline, both self-sourced and channel-influenced
- Navigate complex enterprise organizations by mapping stakeholders, building multithreaded relationships, and engaging at the C-suite and board level
- Lead customers through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment
- Develop and deliver compelling proposals that tie Cohesity’s platform to customer risk, resilience, and strategic objectives
- Collaborate with channel partners and technology alliances (including NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, and AWS) to accelerate deal velocity and expand market reach
- Maintain accurate forecasts and deliver consistent quarterly and annual results
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to leadership to sharpen Cohesity’s go-to-market strategy
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience selling into and partnering with Information Security/Cybersecurity teams, with a strong understanding of enterprise security frameworks, compliance standards, and the ability to align solutions to customer security and risk requirements
- Customer-obsessed mindset and passion for cybersecurity, especially post-incident recovery
- Proven enterprise sales experience, ideally spanning infrastructure and SaaS
- Demonstrated success landing net-new logos and expanding large strategic accounts
- Strong knowledge of data security architectures, ransomware resilience, and the competitive landscape. Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) strongly preferred
- Knowledge of NetBackup, Backup Exec, and InfoScale, including immutable storage, hardened media servers, ACL-based controls, and encryption
- Strong channel DNA, with the ability to co-sell while maintaining deal ownership
- Exceptional communication skills, including executive presentations and business case development
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making
