About the Role

We have an opening on our Donor Recruitment team for a Strategic Business Planning Manager. As an employee, you’ll play a key role in developing and implementing blood drive programs while fostering sponsor partnerships to achieve collection goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and long-term sponsor partnership blood drive programs in assigned geography to achieve collection goals.
  • Identify, develop, and implement creative strategies to attract, sell, manage, and retain Blood Program Leaders/Sponsor partnerships while maximizing their value.
  • Provide organizational and operational support to sponsor contacts and maintain high-level communication with all assigned Blood Program Leaders/Sponsors.
  • Support the blood drive annual calendar by identifying and applying methods to ensure productive scheduling of blood drives by assigned Sponsors.
  • Stay informed about assigned geography, including government, demographics, organizations, and competitive profile, and apply this knowledge to servicing Sponsor groups and market penetration.
  • Maintain accurate system records and provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance.
  • Ensure tools, technology, and strategies provided by the organization enhance customer service, efficiency, and productivity, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team and with internal/external partners to resolve complex business problems.
  • Ability to analyze historical collection data, project trends, define goals, develop measurements, and achieve operational improvements in key performance metrics.
  • Some travel may be required.
