Strategic & Acquisition Ops Research Planner
Overview
The Engine Room Advisor requires at least 15 years of government acquisition experience, with 5 years in support of space programs. A master’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create new organizational concepts and assess impacts in technical, financial, and morale dimensions.
- Achieve integration impacts to the enterprise through strategic planning and policy implementation.
- Develop Space Force and mission level acquisition strategies, plans, and concepts to support strategic and tactical objectives.
- Create new visions and messaging for the organization and cross-cutting concepts for improving portfolio management.
Skills Required
- Proficient in M/S Office applications (Outlook, Project, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, Excel).
- Superior verbal, written, and quantitative analytical skills.
- Ability to create, cultivate, and communicate innovative concepts and COAs based on expert analysis.
- Extensive program management experience, strategic communication/planning experience, and senior-level government space acquisition experience.
- Material Leader experience and/or successful completion of DAU’s PMT 401 is highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of DoD protocol, acquisition, operational, and project management processes and policies.
- Top-secret level clearance required.
Education
A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
