Job Summary

The National Telecommuting Institute (NTI) is seeking a senior individual to assist in developing a new business approach to placing people with disabilities into home-based customer service jobs. This is a volunteer position.

Responsibilities

• Think strategically about the new experimental model for placing individuals with disabilities into home-based customer service roles.
• Work with existing call centers that are interested in piloting the new model.
• Make calls, write informational materials, and possibly create a training video to support the new approach.
• Interview applicants with disabilities to gather feedback on the effectiveness of the materials developed.

Requirements

• Strategic thinker with experience in customer service or disability placement.
• Willingness to engage in practical testing of ideas through direct interaction with potential candidates.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven success in developing and implementing new business models.
• Experience in customer service or disability placement.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates.
