About the role
The Strategic Accounts Onboarding Manager will lead onboarding for Wealth.com's most strategic accounts, including RIAs, broker-dealers, and private wealth firms, while also building the onboarding program, playbooks, and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Personally lead onboarding for strategic accounts, delivering white-glove experiences that accelerate time-to-value and drive long-term retention.
- Build and own the onboarding strategy, defining the post-sale journey, white-glove service model, tiering framework, and success milestones from kickoff through full adoption.
- Develop the onboarding infrastructure, including playbooks, training assets, in-product resources, client-facing documentation, and scalable frameworks, enabling Onboarding Specialists to execute consistently without reinventing the wheel on every engagement.
- Manage and develop the Onboarding team, providing coaching, clear ownership, and a structure that scales as the team and client base grow.
- Partner with Sales to ensure strategic accounts are handed off with full context, and that the transition from close to onboarding feels seamless to the client.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Support to surface onboarding friction, advocate for in-product improvements, and reduce time-to-value across the client base.
- Identify opportunities to build self-service and scalable onboarding experiences, allowing the team to continue delivering quality as volume grows without proportional headcount increases.
- Define and track onboarding KPIs, such as time-to-value, activation rates, onboarding completion rates, and early retention indicators, using data to continuously improve the program.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise onboarding, implementation, or customer success within wealth management, fintech, or financial services SaaS.
- Deep knowledge of the RIA, broker-dealer, and/or private wealth space, understanding how these firms operate, how advisors think, and what drives adoption of new technology in this industry.
- Proven track record of building or scaling an onboarding program, not just delivering onboardings, but designing the systems and playbooks behind them.
- Demonstrated success managing strategic enterprise relationships with a white-glove service model, including senior stakeholders, complex implementation timelines, and multi-team coordination.
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members with a focus on developing structure and ownership.
- Strong strategic thinker who can operate at both the individual account level and the program level simultaneously.
- Builder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, energized by the challenge of creating scalable infrastructure where little currently exists.
- Excellent communicator, able to translate complex product functionality into clear, compelling training and enablement materials for financial advisor audiences.
