Strategic Account Manager - Northeast (ImmunoDiagnostics)
- .
- Requirements: Education, Experience, Additional Requirements (travel, driver's license, work authorization, background check). Also maybe "Keys to Success" includes Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities, Additional Requirements. We'll separate.
- Qualifications: maybe same as Requirements? But we need to avoid duplication. Could treat "Education" and "Experience" as Requirements; "Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities" as Skills; "Additional Requirements" as Requirements (travel etc). We'll decide.
- Skills: Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities list.
- Benefits: The compensation and benefits paragraph includes salary range, bonus, total rewards details. So Benefits section with list of benefits.
- Pay: Could include salary range and bonus. But we already have Benefits includes salary? The instruction: create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections only if posting actually states them. It does state salary range and bonus. So we could have Pay section with salary range and bonus eligibility. Benefits section with other benefits.
- Schedule: Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, legal, navigation, cookie, application instructions. The posting includes "For more information on our benefits, please visit: https://jobs.thermofisher.com/global/en/total-rewards" - that's application instruction? It's a link for more info; maybe we should drop as it's like application instruction? It's not exactly instruction to apply but it's a link for more info. Safer to drop.
We must preserve all substantive information; not invent.

About the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of diagnostics? Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science! Our diagnostic portfolio offers cutting-edge solutions for areas like transplant, oncology, infectious disease, and allergy and autoimmune disease, among others. We provide innovative answers to some of the most challenging and unique diagnostic questions, that ultimately help clinicians and healthcare professional determine the best treatment for their patients. The Immunodiagnostic Division (IDD) is focused on the management of allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases (like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis). A Day in the Life: The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving reagent revenue growth and customer retention across a defined portfolio of laboratory accounts within the ImmunoDiagnostics Division. This role focuses on defending, retaining, and expanding business within Reference Laboratories, Hospitals, and Integrated Health System Laboratories. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic account plans supporting the Autoimmunity and Allergy diagnostic portfolios across the assigned territory. This includes identifying growth opportunities, increasing laboratory utilization, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships through consultative selling and value-based engagement. A key responsibility of the role is leading regular Customer Business Reviews in collaboration with internal commercial partners to evaluate performance metrics, uncover opportunities, and align on strategic objectives. The Strategic Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact between customer stakeholders—including Procurement, Laboratory Leadership, Medical Directors, and Outreach Teams—and Thermo Fisher commercial partners such as Regional Managers, Business Development Executives, Strategic Account Executives, and Technical Sales Specialists. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, strategic selling capabilities, and the ability to effectively communicate clinical and operational value propositions within complex healthcare environments.
But note that we also have Responsibilities section that may duplicate some of that. To avoid duplication, we could keep About the role as a brief overview, and Responsibilities as bullet list of specific duties. However the instructions: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." Could combine overview and responsibilities into one section? But we need to follow headings list: we can include About the role and Responsibilities both if they have content. However we must not repeat same content. We can split: About the role includes general description and mission; Responsibilities includes bullet list of duties. Let's extract bullet list: - Driving reagent revenue growth and customer retention across a defined portfolio of laboratory accounts within the ImmunoDiagnostics Division. - Defending, retaining, and expanding business within Reference Laboratories, Hospitals, and Integrated Health System Laboratories. - Developing and executing strategic account plans supporting the Autoimmunity and Allergy diagnostic portfolios across the assigned territory. - Identifying growth opportunities, increasing laboratory utilization, and strengthening long-term customer partnerships through consultative selling and value-based engagement. - Leading regular Customer Business Reviews in collaboration with internal commercial partners to evaluate performance metrics, uncover opportunities, and align on strategic objectives. - Serving as the primary point of contact between customer stakeholders (Procurement, Laboratory Leadership, Medical Directors, Outreach Teams) and Thermo Fisher commercial partners (Regional Managers, Business Development Executives, Strategic Account Executives, Technical Sales Specialists). We'll put these as- .
Now Requirements: Education, Experience, Additional Requirements (travel, driver's license, work auth, background check). Also maybe "Keys to Success" includes Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities, Additional Requirements. We'll separate.
Requirements section could contain Education and Experience and Additional Requirements (travel etc). But we also have Skills section for Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities.

Work Schedule Standard (Mon‑Fri). Environmental Conditions: Office.
We should not include any extra sections like Qualifications (we already have Requirements and Skills). Could also include Qualifications but we have no distinct content besides Requirements and Skills. Better to omit Qualifications to avoid thin sections. Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "For more information on our benefits, please visit: ..." We omitted that. Check for any repeated content: About the role paragraph includes some responsibilities; but we also have Responsibilities bullet list. That's okay; not duplicate exactly but some overlap. Might be considered duplication but acceptable? The instruction: "Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail." It's okay to have some overlap as long as we don't omit. Could we avoid duplication by moving the responsibilities to bullet list and making About the role shorter (just mission)? Let's trim About the role to just the introductory passion and division overview, not the detailed responsibilities. Keep the bullet list for responsibilities. Thus About the role paragraph: "Are you passionate about making a difference in the field of diagnostics? Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science! Our diagnostic portfolio offers cutting-edge solutions for areas like transplant, oncology, infectious disease, and allergy and autoimmune disease, among others. We provide innovative answers to some of the most challenging and unique diagnostic questions, that ultimately help clinicians and healthcare professional determine the best treatment for their patients. The Immunodiagnostic Division (IDD) is focused on the management of allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases (like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis)." That seems good. Now Responsibilities bullet list as above. Now ensure we didn't miss any substantive info: Location: "Location: This is a field-based position supporting customers across the Northeast- Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island. Candidate would ideally be based in Boston or Connecticut. Relocation assistance is NOT provided." This is location info; we didn't include a Location section. Should we include? The instruction says we can include sections only when posting has real specific content. Location is substantive. Should we add a Location section? The allowed headings list does not include Location, but we could still include aLocation
? The instruction: "usefor section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It gives examples but not exclusive list. It says use
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Likely they expect only those headings. So we should not add Location heading. Where to put location info? Could fold into About the role paragraph or maybe into Responsibilities? Probably incorporate into About the role as additional sentence. Let's add location info to About the role after division description. Thus About the role paragraph: include location and relocation note. Now check we didn't include any boilerplate like "EEO", "navigation", etc. Not present. Now ensure
