About the role

Yorktel is a video managed services partner for large business and government agencies. We manage over 10,000 video systems globally and are seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive sales and account penetration.

Responsibilities

  • Work with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and secure orders
  • Present existing products and services to clients and ensure client requirements are communicated to service teams
  • Represent customer requirements to Yorktel and direct how products and services are customized and deployed
  • Manage active accounts within Global Enterprise Accounts
  • Build annual account action plans and track contract renewals
  • Drive revenue growth and meet monthly and annual revenue goals
  • Conduct regular Business Reviews and reporting with major accounts
  • Manage relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and resellers
  • Provide input into pricing, positioning, and strategy
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and activities

Requirements

  • Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Advanced conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Yorktel policies and procedures
  • Comfortable managing relationships with executive level contacts
  • Successful track record of winning and closing deals in competitive environments

Qualifications

  • Experience in consultative sales with long sales cycles in the Collaboration industry
  • Proven success building new business relationships with executive-level management
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and general business software
  • Technical certifications such as CCIE, CVE, MCSE desirable
