About The Job
The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing revenue within a select portfolio of highly strategic financial services accounts through the sale of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and services. This role is focused on driving long-term account growth by developing and executing strategic account plans, identifying new business opportunities, and expanding enterprise-wide adoption of RISK solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, coordinating cross-functional resources to maximize account penetration, maintain existing revenue streams, and deliver exceptional client outcomes.
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Meting or exceeding monthly and annual revenue objectives across a portfolio of named strategic accounts.
- Developing and executing strategic account plans that identify growth opportunities, sales strategies, target activities, and required cross-functional resources.
- Creating detailed sales plans that leverage account history, industry insights, and customer needs to uncover additional product and solution opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships at all organizational levels, including C-suite and senior decision-makers.
- Acting as the primary liaison between internal sales support teams and customers to deliver superior service and tailored solutions.
- Developing and implementing account and territory strategies focused on new business growth, pipeline development, forecasting, and enterprise penetration.
- Conducting research and analysis to identify prospective customers whose business needs align with LNRS products and solutions.
- Utilizing business analysis tools and competitive intelligence to identify revenue trends, sales opportunities, and market threats.
- Clearly articulating the value of LNRS products, pricing, and competitive differentiation in a way that aligns to customer business objectives.
- Managing relationships with customers and prospects through effective communication, needs analysis, and solution-based selling.
- Maintaining a strong understanding of competitor offerings, industry trends, and market positioning.
- Operating effectively within a heavily matrixed environment while coordinating cross-functional internal resources.
- Participating in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities to strengthen product, market, and industry expertise.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of proven enterprise or strategic sales experience within a professional sales environment.
- Demonstrated experience selling to C-level executives and senior business stakeholders.
- Prominent track record managing and growing strategic national and/or global accounts.
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational, territory management, and forecasting capabilities.
- Able to quickly develop an in-depth understanding of LNRS products, services, and customer use cases.
- Strong networking skills with a professional presence, business maturity, and technical proficiency.
- Experience operating within a heavily matrixed organization and managing cross-functional resources.
- Able to travel extensively, including overnight travel, up to 40–60% as required.
Pay & Benefits
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $98,500 - $183,000. Total Target Cash Range: $151,700 - $281,500. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.

Base Pay Range for NY is $108,400 - $201,200. Total Target Cash Range for NY is $166,900 - $309,700.
Base Pay Range for New York City is $113,300 - $210,400. Total Target Cash for New York City is $174,400 - $323,700.
Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $93,600 - $173,800. Total Target Cash Range for Rochester, NY is $144,100 - $267,400.
