Job Summary The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with key strategic customers. This role serves as the primary point of contact, developing a deep understanding of customer needs and business objectives to deliver tailored solutions that drive mutual growth and long-term partnerships. The position requires strong collaboration across internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful execution of business plans. This role is remote within the following states: AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, NC, NE, SD, TN, TX, WI, and WY. Candidates may reside in or relocate to any of these states. Relocation assistance will be provided. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within the distribution transformer industry.Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned strategic accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.Identify and pursue growth opportunities within strategic accounts to maximize revenue and profitability.Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to deliver customer-centric solutions.Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business challenges and aligning ERMCO’s offerings accordingly.Prepare and present regular business reviews, forecasts, and account plans to both customers and internal leadership.Negotiate contracts and pricing in alignment with company guidelines and customer expectations.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic account management plans.Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and escalations to maintain positive relationships.Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.Travel required to customer sites and industry events (up to 50%). Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in strategic account management, sales, or business development.Proven success managing complex customer relationships and driving revenue growth.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and develop actionable account strategies. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of the distribution transformer industry and its products. Experience in industrial manufacturing, electrical equipment, or related industries.Advanced degree or relevant certifications in sales or account management.Proficiency with CRM and sales analytics tools.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team-oriented environment.
