About the Team
The WMP team manages day-to-day engagement with our best client Partner Firms while acting as the primary relationship manager for Invesco. The WMP team constructs the business strategy for client Partners, negotiates business terms for impacting organic growth, and is responsible for the full integration of Invesco products onto client Partner platforms. We work in direct partnership with Investment due diligence, WMI field distribution leaders, and Field Pro Buyers as our secondary client base. We are responsible for bringing the breadth of Invesco products and services to every external distribution partner.
Responsibilities
- The execution, education, and field adoption of the FinTech Firms business plan.
- The placement of IVZ products on Client Partner Platforms.
- The training of our Field Sales teams about the FinTech ecosystem and how these partnerships impact sales and growth in Invesco critical few objectives (CFOs), especially in the RIA marketplace.
- Representing Invesco at certain Industry and Client events to help promote IVZ products.
- The negotiation of business contracts and financial terms to support organic growth and advisor education with Client partners.
- The dissemination of data to assist field sales with relevant and timely sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in financial services with an emphasis on the RIA marketplace and broad knowledge of related job families (i.e., financial sales, strategic accounts).
- The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the growing RIA marketplace with an emphasis on the technology platforms that serve this Advisor community.
- Leads others to solve complex problems where significant initiative and independent judgement is required.
- Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
- Converts technical FinTech client information and deep Custodian platform knowledge into compelling business context and advice for IVZ field sales teams.
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Works on complex assignments where significant initiative and independent judgement is required to search for an appropriate course of action within the context of established goals and objectives.
- Uses concepts and abilities from previous financial services sales, strategic accounts, and RIA experience and skills to solve complex problems in creative and effective ways.
- Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
Pay
The salary range for this position in New York, NY is $130,000 - $150,000 Base/year. The total compensation offered for this position includes salary and incentive pay and will vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Schedule
Full-time. Employees are expected to comply with the firm’s workplace model, which includes spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
