About the role

The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for managing client interactions and account maintenance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client book of business with emphasis on building and fostering relationships.
  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating customer needs.
  • Collaborating with co-workers and vendor contacts to resolve client concerns.
  • Attending and coordinating meetings with clients, brokers, or PBMs.
  • Escalating client or broker issues to PBMs.
  • Analyzing plan performance and providing recommendations.
  • Implementing timelines with PBMs and overseeing member communications.
  • Maintaining internal documentation and systems.
  • Assisting with various internal projects and process improvements.
  • Managing RFP prescreening and finalist meetings.
  • Reviewing quarterly newsletters and communications.

Responsibilities

Manage client book of business with emphasis on building and fostering relationships.

Manage RFP prescreening process and coordinate finalist meetings.

Review quarterly newsletters and communications.

Requirements

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or a similar field.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with healthcare industry terminology and processes preferred.
