As we continue to grow, we're looking for a collaborative, results-driven sales professional who is passionate about building strategic customer relationships and driving business growth within the medical market.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, expand, and maximize relationships with key customers and prospect accounts.
  • Develop direct relationships with key decision-makers at medical service providers, OEMs, and CDMOs to drive specification and adoption of company products.
  • Employ consultative selling approach to deliver sales presentations and proposals that emphasize value solutions for customers.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners, Marketing, Laboratory, Regulatory Affairs, and Product Management to align business strategies, resolve customer challenges, to maximize growth opportunities within key healthcare accounts.
  • Analyze customer requirements, develop solutions to customer cleaning applications and communicate business value propositions to customers and prospects.
  • Negotiate contracts (GSA, GPO, Government), rebates, and terms while strengthening profitability within the account’s portfolio.
  • Actively engage with customers to develop action plans to resolve questions/issues by promoting product innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing team to develop and execute product launches, promotional initiatives.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to support client sales including development of pricing models to ensure company sales and profit objectives are met.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, customer activity, and account plans within the CRM system.
  • Provide regular briefing to company management on key account and funnel development to include life cycle of opportunity and potential ROI of a project.
  • Maintain and update knowledge on all new technology and competitive and regulatory landscape.
  • Utilize full MicroCare line of products to expand “Share of wallet” in existing accounts.
  • Attend industry trade shows and technical conferences in support of product lines.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Competencies/Experience

  • Historical expertise in articulating chemical and engineering concepts and proposals to local management as well as executive level teams.
  • Absolutely effective account planning methodology.
  • Taking ownership from prior experience in building strategic account plans that result in revenue growth, deeper partnerships, and overall account success.
  • Well-developed negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • Strong collaboration skills to ensure holistic customer centric approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell a technical product and serve as an industry expert.
  • Proven ability to effectively perform value-based selling.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years B2B related sales experience with emphasis on medical device manufacturing or medical coatings/precision cleaning.
  • Effective leadership style, with demonstrated ability to lead people & get results through others.
  • Competent and engaging public speaker, with excellent active listening and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong customer orientation.
  • Able to work in self-managed environment.
  • Strong CRM experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to travel domestically 50% with limited international travel as needed.
  • Prior experience working in direct selling as well as private labeling for partner or distribution sales.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Prior Experience

  • Prior experience in orthopedic and spine contract manufacturing environment.
  • Prior experience in medical device design from conception to creation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Chemistry.
  • Prior experience in medical device design from conception to creation.
  • MBA with some science background considered.

Physical/Environmental Qualifications

  • Frequent sitting, walking, carrying and driving.
