Stores Clerk

About the role

Serves as lead worker over shipping and receiving staff. Receives supplies and equipment at receiving dock. Delivers items to University departments. Maintains all shipping, receiving and inventory records. Obtains supplies and equipment from University departments that need to be returned to vendors. Cancels orders on occasion. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math calculations
• 6 months experience maintaining and tracking inventory, and/or materials coming in/out of a department
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing approximately fifty pounds
• Must have a valid driver’s license and must establish driver eligibility under the University’s Motor Vehicle Policy
