Storekeeper Senior
Job Duties
The Warehouse Specialist performs and coordinates all warehouse operations for Central State Hospital, including receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering supplies, equipment, and materials. The position ensures accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and timely distribution of goods to hospital departments while maintaining an organized, efficient, and safety-compliant work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- Current valid Virginia drivers license.
- Experience with computing, basic math.
- Experience working in a Warehouse/Storekeeping.
- Inventory Control Experience.
- Experience with operating mechanical equipment (i.e. floor pallet jacks, fork lifts, etc).
- Must obtain Forklift certification with in 3 months of employment.
Additional Considerations
- Experience using warehouse management or ERP systems.
- Experience in hospital, institutional, or government warehouse operations preferred.
