Storekeeper - 3rd Shift

Starting hourly rate: $27.27 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium upon transfer to 3rd shift. This position is located at our West Facility in Lincoln, NE.

About the role

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is expanding rapidly and seeking a motivated Storekeeper II to support and shape our growing organization. GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to defense and commercial aerospace markets, with over 60 years of expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing composite missile and space structures.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle incoming shipments, including checking quantity and condition of materials.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing reports.
• Maintain storeroom and related areas; issue, dispense, and deliver materials, supplies, and equipment on request.
• Maintain records as required.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant.
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Physical demands

• Frequent (68-100%): ladder and stairs climbing, driving an automatic transmission, lifting and carrying 10-20 lbs., pushing/pulling 10-40 lbs.
• Moderate (34-67%): lifting or carrying 21-60 lbs., pulling, wrist flexion, and wrist extension.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of relevant experience.
• Fork Truck Certification.
• Basic computer experience.

Pay

$27.27 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium upon transfer to 3rd shift.
