Responsibilities

• Drive sales and profit by achieving retail store targets, implementing strategies, and running promotions to increase traffic and revenue.
• Create memorable shopping experiences by infusing every customer interaction with positivity and inclusivity, helping them find pieces that reflect their unique personality.
• Become a trained piercing specialist: conduct piercings, educate customers on aftercare, maintain a sterile environment, and address questions or concerns.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory management, cash transactions, visual merchandising, and promotional activities to ensure a fun and efficient store environment.
• Lead and develop your team by recruiting, training, managing, and motivating staff to foster collaboration, accountability, and results.
• Represent the Claire’s brand with enthusiasm, offering fashion tips and advice while ensuring the store is well-merchandised to reflect the latest trends.

Requirements

• Ability to conduct piercings with patience and empathy, particularly for young or anxious customers.
• Proficiency in operating a POS system to facilitate transactions and manage sales efficiently.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of retail management experience.
• Physical ability to stand for scheduled shifts, maneuver 11-35kg (25-75lbs), bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders or step stools.
• Passion for helping customers express themselves and providing excellent service throughout their visit.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and management.
• Strong grasp of mathematics for inventory management, sales analysis, and cash handling.

• Ability to create curated fashion looks with products during your shift.
