About the role

The Northern Tier BU - Region 03 - Market 07 is located at 4167 Ball Road NE, Blaine, Minnesota 55014. Shifts are flexible, including days, evenings, overnight, and weekends. This position is full-time.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and train employees to provide excellent customer service.
• Manage and assign tasks to ensure the site is clean, stocked, and organized according to company standards.
• Schedule employees within company guidelines to optimize customer service and maintain site image.
• Implement non-discriminatory management skills during hiring, training, counseling, motivating, and separating employees.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and the surrounding community.
• Train employees on customer service, site image, and marketing execution to meet company standards.
• Train employees on safety procedures and promote safety awareness.
• Ensure timely and effective communication with all employees through various methods.
• Evaluate and develop action plans to address site needs and achieve desired objectives.
• Organize and maintain all site files and manuals, ensuring accurate and timely completion of required reports.
• Stock, price, and display merchandise correctly, and ensure all required employment-related posters and signs are accessible.
• Analyze daily sales and expenses, taking appropriate actions to maximize sales and net profits.
• Budget and forecast profit and loss statements, understand and manage merchandise margins, and safeguard and account for all money received and disbursed.
• Perform work both indoors and occasionally outside, including cleaning parking lots, gas pumps, and taking out garbage.
• Work in cold temperatures while supervising or managing employees in walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Communicate effectively with employees and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in retail sales preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train employees, including the use of equipment, tools, and materials.
• Valid driver’s license and adequate transportation.
• Ability to communicate (both orally and in writing) in English.
