About the role

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales. This role involves managing a team, promoting the GameStop brand, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide best-in-class guest service
  • Support the shopping environment
  • Process guest purchases and returns
  • Promote GameStop's guest benefits
  • Hire, train, and retain associates
  • Schedule and supervise staff
  • Ensure store cleanliness and organization
  • Manage inventory and fulfill orders
  • Count and reconcile daily transactions
  • Report injuries and maintain records
  • Work collaboratively with military personnel (if applicable)

Qualifications

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
  • Video game knowledge preferred
