About the role
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional customer service and strategic management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
- Model best-in-class guest service
- Support the shopping environment and promote GameStop benefits
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain associates
- Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal guest service
- Ensure store compliance with policies and procedures
- Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions
- Manage inventory and fulfill orders
- Lead team in achieving sales and profit goals
Requirements
- Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of retail management experience
- At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
- Video game knowledge preferred
