About the role

The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and driving sales through exceptional customer service and strategic management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
  • Model best-in-class guest service
  • Support the shopping environment and promote GameStop benefits
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain associates
  • Schedule and supervise staff to ensure optimal guest service
  • Ensure store compliance with policies and procedures
  • Count, balance, and reconcile daily transactions
  • Manage inventory and fulfill orders
  • Lead team in achieving sales and profit goals

Requirements

  • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the US
  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
  • Video game knowledge preferred
