About the role
The Store Manager oversees all aspects of store operations, influencing guest satisfaction and performance through exceptional customer service and strategic management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a multiunit store operation
- Model best-in-class guest service
- Support the total shopping environment
- Process guest purchases and returns accurately
- Promote GameStop’s guest benefits
- Recruit, interview, hire, assess, develop, and retain associates
- Schedule and supervise store associates
- Ensure store meets sales and profit goals
- Perform store inventory counts and fulfill orders
- Maintain store records and ensure safety
- Work collaboratively with military personnel on military bases
Qualifications
- Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the US
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of retail management experience
- At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred
- Video game knowledge preferred
