Store Manager (Indeed Event)
About the Role
As a Store Manager, you are in charge of the operation of a single store. This includes hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. An 8+ week store leadership training program will prepare you for success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations
- Hire, manage, and direct store associates
- Achieve financial goals
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs
- Serve Safe certified (Food Safety)
Work Environment
While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are expected to remain standing for long periods. Key physical demands include:
- Preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen equipment (e.g., Chinese cook knife) quickly and accurately
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for up to four hours
- Reaching across 36-inch countertops to serve customers
- Working in hot, noisy kitchens with limited storage and high shelving
Additional requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations
