Store Manager (Indeed Event)
About the Role
As a Store Manager, you are in charge of the operation of a single store. This includes hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. An 8+ week paid Store Management Leadership Training program, mentorship, and support from the Panda community will prepare you for success.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations to meet financial targets.
- Hire, manage, and direct store associates.
- Ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Maintain food safety standards (Serve Safe certified).
Requirements
- High school diploma required.
- Willingness to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home.
- Flexible availability, including opening/closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Work Environment
While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. Workspace is restricted, and employees are expected to remain standing for long periods. Key physical demands include:
- Preparing hot and cold foods using kitchen equipment (e.g., Chinese cook knife).
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Standing for up to four hours and reaching across 36-inch countertops.
- Working in a fast-paced, high-noise environment with limited storage and high shelving.
Required skills: effective verbal communication, adaptability to dynamic environments, conflict management, and the ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy.
