About the Role

As a Store Manager, you are in charge of the operation of a single store. This includes hiring, managing, and directing associates to achieve financial goals and ensuring the delivery of exceptional guest experiences. You will undergo an 8 or more weeks of paid Store Management Leadership Training program to prepare you for success. The role requires upholding a high standard of integrity and ethics, complying with all Company Policies, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates in an open-kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, including hiring and managing associates.
  • Direct team efforts to achieve financial goals and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and associates.
  • Comply with all Company Policies and uphold high standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Work in an open-kitchen environment with regular interaction with individuals of all ages, including minors and seniors.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Must be flexible to relocate to a store within a 50-mile radius of your home.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Serve Safe certified (Food Safety).

Work Environment

While performing duties, counter areas are often hot with steam from steam tables and food vapors. The workspace is restricted, and employees are generally expected to remain standing for long periods. Key physical demands include:

  • Preparing hot and cold foods, using kitchen equipment such as a Chinese cook knife, and working quickly without losing accuracy.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across countertops measured at 36 inches to serve customers.
  • Working in a fast-paced, high-noise environment with limited storage space and high shelving.

Employees must possess effective verbal communication skills, the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities, and the ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations.
