Store Manager - Full Time

About the role

Responsible for managing store operations, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate employees, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
• Oversee store opening and closing procedures, maintain a safe and organized environment.
• Analyze sales, profitability, and expenses to identify business trends and control costs.
• Manage inventory levels, order products, and ensure proper merchandise presentation.
• Ensure cash handling accuracy, security, and compliance with financial procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and security standards.

Requirements

• Ability to interpret manuals, diagrams, and safety instructions.
• Strong math skills for calculations and inventory management.
• Knowledge of cash handling, security policies, and merchandising practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in retail management and high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous.

Work Environment

• Frequent walking, standing, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional climbing.
• Fast-paced setting with exposure to outside weather conditions and moderate noise level.
• Must be able to operate equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
