Store Manager Candidate

About the role

Assist the Store Manager in daily store operations, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Support recruiting, hiring, and training staff.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.
• Manage inventory processes, including damage control and stock levels.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
• Handle cash operations, cash register functions, and bank deposits.
• Review sales and operational data to identify trends and improve performance.
• Assist in opening and closing procedures and store security.
• Act in the store manager's absence, supporting all operational needs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Ability to interpret manuals and perform mathematical calculations.
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience advantageous.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Use of equipment such as scanners, carts, and ladders.
• Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; occasional outdoor exposure.
• Some travel required, with limited overnight stays.
