Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves fostering team development, ensuring store appearance, maintaining safety standards, and managing financial integrity through cash handling and security protocols. The position serves as a temporary placeholder for future store management responsibilities, operating in the manager's absence and contributing to business trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training employees.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.
• Support inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and stock counts.
• Ensure product availability by following proper ordering practices.
• Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company policies.
• Manage store opening/closing, cash handling, and financial procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment.
• Review operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Retail experience recommended.

Requirements

Physical & Working Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.Use of merchandise handling equipment and occasional ladder use.Fast-paced environment with moderate noise; occasional outdoor exposure.Some travel required, with limited overnight stays.
