About the role

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This limited-term role involves assisting in recruitment, store presentation, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training employees.
• Support store merchandising, stocking, and presentation according to standards.
• Manage inventory processes, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.
• Ensure excellent customer service and store safety.
• Help maintain store security, cash handling, and financial integrity.
• Participate in store opening/closing and administrative tasks.
• Review sales and expense data to identify business trends and opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; retail experience advantageous.

Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety procedures. Ability to interpret operational documents and perform mathematical calculations. Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations.

Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds; occasional ladder use and driving for store-related tasks. Fast-paced setting with moderate noise and exposure to outside weather.
