Store Manager Candidate

About the role

Supports the Store Manager in executing store operations, including staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service, while developing external candidates for future store management roles.

Responsibilities

• Assists with recruiting
• Participates in merchandising
• Manages inventory
• Ensures product availability
• Maintains store cleanliness and safety
• Acts as a role model by following company policies
• Participates in opening/closing procedures
• Handles store funds securely
• Analyzes sales, labor, and inventory data to identify business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Completes necessary documentation
• Supports the store in achieving financial and operational goals

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret operational documents and perform basic mathematical calculations
• Knowledge of cash handling, inventory management, merchandising, and safety policies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Preferred high school diploma and retail experience
• Bilingual skills may be advantageous

Physical & Work Conditions

Frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing and driving, in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise and outdoor exposure.
