About the role

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role involves helping with recruiting, staging merchandise, executing inventory procedures, and ensuring stock levels meet targets. They act as a role model by following company policies, participating in store opening and closing, safeguarding funds, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. The candidate reviews operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, completes necessary paperwork, and operates the store in the absence of the manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist with employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service
• Help with recruiting, staging merchandise, executing inventory procedures, and ensuring stock levels meet targets
• Act as a role model: follow company policies, participate in store opening and closing, safeguard funds, maintain a safe and clean environment
• Review operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Complete necessary paperwork
• Operate the store in the absence of the manager

Requirements

• High school diploma (preferred)
• Retail experience (preferred)
• Bilingual Spanish skills (advantageous)
• Physical demands: frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing or driving
• Adaptability in a fast‑paced environment
• Some travel involved
