About the role

The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations by assisting in employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This limited-term role involves acting as a role model, ensuring store safety, maintaining cleanliness, and managing cash and security procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting, staffing, and training staff.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and inventory processes, including damage control and order management.
• Support customer service excellence and uphold company policies.
• Handle store opening/closing, cash deposits, and safety protocols.
• Review operational metrics to identify business trends and control expenses.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

Preferred high school diploma and retail experience; bilingual skills may be advantageous.

Skills

• Strong reading, math, and cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, and safety procedures.
• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.

Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Occasional climbing, driving, and exposure to outdoor weather. Fast-paced environment requiring attention to safety and efficiency.
