Store Manager Candidate

Role Overview The Store Manager Candidate supports the Store Manager in executing store operations, including employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, stocking, and store needs. This role focuses on developing external candidates for future store management positions. Key Responsibilities Assist with recruiting, staffing, and employee development.Participate in merchandising, stocking, and presentation of merchandise.Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.Ensure excellent customer service and store cleanliness.Handle store opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.Monitor financial performance by reviewing sales, expenses, and inventory data.Complete necessary documentation and maintain compliance with policies. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; retail experience preferred.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Ability to interpret documents, perform calculations, and learn cash register functions.Knowledge of inventory, merchandising, cash handling, and safety policies.Bilingual skills may be preferred at some locations. Physical & Work Conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.Use of equipment like scanners, carts, and ladders.Fast-paced environment with exposure to outside weather and moderate noise.Occasional travel with limited overnight stays.
