The Store Manager Candidate supports store operations, focusing on employee supervision, staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service. This role prepares candidates for future Store Manager positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, staffing, and training employees.
• Participate in merchandising, stocking, and store presentation.
• Manage inventory, including damages, markdowns, and stock levels.
• Ensure customer service excellence and adherence to company policies.
• Handle store opening and closing, cash handling, and financial integrity.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with security procedures.
• Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory trends for operational insights.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret safety, operating, and procedural documents.
• Proficiency in math, cash handling, and inventory practices.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving abilities in limited standardization contexts.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred in some locations.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year of retail experience is advantageous.
• Physical requirements: frequent walking, standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, occasional climbing, and travel between stores.
• Work environment: fast-paced with moderate noise, exposure to weather conditions may occur.
