Store Manager

About the Role

We’re looking for outgoing, positive people-persons who enjoy leading a team. As a Shop Manager, you’ll oversee a shop and ensure your team executes Take 5’s standards for oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacements, tire air filling, and other light maintenance services. This role is fast-paced, similar to restaurants or retail environments, and offers a stay-in-your-car hassle-free experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and onboard team members
• Motivate, hold the team accountable, and make personnel decisions
• Check in with customers before they leave to ensure a great experience
• Ensure the crew delivers excellent customer service
• Manage inventory: conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
• Place product orders
• Understand shop financials to drive results and beat budget
• Conduct quarterly employee evaluations
• Submit payroll and create crew schedules
• Support technicians with their duties

Requirements

• Must be adaptive to change
• Basic computer skills required
• Ability to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit safely
• Must walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods
• Must be alert and aware of surroundings at all times
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work in hot/cold weather conditions
• First line of defense for customer service

Schedule

Be prepared for early hours and working approximately 55 hours per week.
