The Role:The Store Manager is responsible for achieving store sales and maximizing profitability through effective management of store team and implementation of company policies. SALES GENERATION/CLIENT EXPERIENCEMeet, and exceed personal and store sales goalsAnalyze selling and sales reports to determine the needs of the storeSet individual sales goals for team and follow-up daily on performanceMotivate sales staff to meet sales goalsSupport the development of associates’ selling techniquesConsistently interact and lead on the sales floor with staff and clientsDemonstrate sales leadership for staff by role playingDevelop store events for clients to grow the store’s client baseEnsure staff is creating the ultimate client experience on sales floor and in fitting room areaBuild and maintain repeat clientele by utilizing personal client book and assisting staff with utilizing their client booksResolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectivelyOPERATIONSEnsure all maintenance issues are communicated in a timely mannerControl monthly petty cash spendingSchedule associates to maintain adequate floor coverage while maintaining payroll costsEnsure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely mannerMeet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements using inventory reports/cycle countsEnsure staff is trained in all areas of operationsBuild and maintain good communication with members of corporateUnderstand and properly execute all register functionsConduct yearly inventory and weekly inventory reportsFollow and enforce all company policies and proceduresEnforce cash control procedures including: bank deposits, safe funds, and petty cashEnsure all weekly/monthly paperwork is submitted on time to corporateMeet corporate deadlines MERCHANDISING/VISUAL MERCHANDISINGImplement and maintain all merchandising directives and ensure execution of effective merchandising strategiesWork and effectively communicate with the Corporate Visual Merchandising teamEnsure selling floor is neat, clean, and organized and reflect the brands imageEnsure shipment deliveries are properly processed in a timely mannerIdentify and communicate product concerns in a timely mannerCommunicate inventory needs to support the business goal .HUMAN RESOURCESRecruit, train, and develop staffEnsure all open positions are filled in a timely mannerConduct annual performance reviews with staffResolve all human resource issues in a timely mannerEnsure wardrobe policy is properly implemented and followedEnsure payroll and employee paperwork is accurate and submitted on time QUALIFICATIONSMust have at least 3-5 years of retail management experienceStrong leadership skillsMust be able to work in fast pace environment with sense of urgencyAbility to adapt quickly to the brands cultureStrong communication and organizational skillsBasic knowledge of fashion and interior designMust have excellent written and verbal skillsAbility to use Microsoft Office programsMust be able to lift 20-25 poundsMust have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays BENEFITSCompetitive PTO package for Full Time employeesRoller Rabbit discounts and annual allowanceComprehensive health, vision, and dental care, along with FSA/HSA benefits for Full Time employees
