About the role
A reputed edible oil manufacturing company is seeking a highly competent and experienced Store Manager to lead and oversee all store, warehouse, inventory, and material management functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in inventory control, spare parts management, ERP-based store operations, and modern warehousing practices. Candidates with prior experience in the Edible Oil Manufacturing Industry and a strong understanding of production-support inventory management will be given high preference.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee day-to-day store and warehouse operations.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of raw materials, packaging materials, spare parts, and finished goods.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels to support smooth production and operational requirements.
- Implement effective inventory control systems and best practices.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure inventory accuracy at all times.
- Conduct regular stock verification, cycle counts, and physical inventory audits.
- Manage and control industrial spare parts inventory for plant and machinery maintenance.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Finance, and other departments to ensure efficient material flow.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, stock variance reports, and management reports.
- Ensure timely updating of inventory transactions through ERP systems.
- Identify opportunities for inventory optimization, cost reduction, and process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store management procedures.
- Lead, supervise, and develop store personnel to achieve operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in store, warehouse, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in the Edible Oil Industry is highly preferred.
- Proven experience handling industrial spare parts and maintenance-related inventory.
- Experience working with modern inventory control systems and warehouse management practices.
- Systematic and up-to-date knowledge of modern store and inventory management practices.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in Spare Parts Management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based Store and Inventory Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of inventory reconciliation, stock audits, and warehouse controls.
