Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including volume, margin, closing ratio, sales per guest, bedding and protection.
• Handling all customer-related issues escalated above the Guest Experience Manager or Lead.
• Providing exceptional leadership with timely and effective communication to the sales, guest experience, and visual teams.
• Coaching members of the staff to build individual and team success in a professional manner.
• Auditing the performance of employees in preparation to administer performance evaluations for assigned staff as needed.
• Maintaining budgeted administrative costs including wages and supplies.
• Ensuring complete and adequate documentation of procedures and tasks completed.
• Completing various report functions in a timely manner.
• Maintaining proper staffing levels for each job code in accordance with company set budget levels.
• Preparing and administering performance evaluations for assigned staff.
• Cooking and executing daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings.
• Coordinating and executing with the Visual Presentation Manager regarding product placement.
• Reporting changes in policy and other information to staff members.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A High School Diploma required.
• Two (2) years working in the retail industry.
• Four (4) years supervising in a retail industry.
• Ability to motivate employees to achieve sales KPIs.
• Ability to handle guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Ability to interview and staff retail location.
