Responsibilities
- People Leadership & Cultural Stewardship
- Servant Leadership: Lead with the philosophy that taking care of your team is the first step in taking care of the guest. Foster psychological safety where every voice matters and courageous feedback is the norm.
- Talent Curation & Multiplication: Source and curate a diverse talent community. Maintain a Talent Portfolio of high-potential candidates and identify "bench" talent to prepare for brand growth. Success is measured by your team’s ability to replicate results without your direct oversight.
- Coaching through Complexity: Lead through ambiguity with a firm point of view. Conduct structured one-on-one sessions, provide real-time feedback, and demonstrate resourcefulness in decision-making.
- Merchant Excellence & Styling Obsession
- Product & Styling Obsession: Act as the ultimate Brand Ambassador by modeling the Faherty style guide. Foster a team culture obsessed with product knowledge, fabrication, and outfitting.
- Tech Fluency: Master retail platforms and digital tools to streamline operations and enhance the guest journey.
- Visual Strategy: Optimize floor layout and product placement to drive UPT and AOV, translating brand directives into localized success.
- Operational Stewardship: Maintain a store that is "Grand Opening Ready" daily, including floor maintenance, back-of-house organization, and inventory integrity.
- Asset Protection & Safety: Uphold "Timeless" standards through audits and shrinkage control. Lead with a safety-first mentality and champion loss prevention strategies.
- Strategic Business Ownership & P&L Mastery
- Executive Presence: Model Faherty core values and lead by example in all interactions with the team, guests, and HQ partners.
- Review Readiness: Maintain constant readiness to articulate store performance and team development through data-driven results.
- Fiscal Roadmap: Analyze P&L reports to identify levers impacting the bottom line, including margin protection, payroll efficiency, shrink control, and expense management.
- Data-Driven Pivot: Use merch reporting and analytics to validate intuition and pivot business strategy based on performance insights.
- Enlightened Hospitality & Advanced Clienteling
- The Relational Selling Methodology: Lead the team in executing the brand’s selling model, ensuring every guest interaction builds long-term loyalty through authentic connection.
- Strategic Client Insights & Data Integrity: Maintain high standards for guest data capture, ensuring detailed profiles with actionable insights (minimum three unique lifestyle facts) for personalized follow-ups.
- Relational Outreach Cadence: Drive a disciplined outreach strategy, ensuring the team meets engagement goals with quality and intentionality.
- Clienteling ROI: Analyze outreach data to ensure high Repeat Client Rate and meet revenue targets through digital engagement.
- Omnichannel Ownership: Treat digital business (SFS/BOPIS) with the same urgency as the physical floor for a seamless customer-first approach.
- Community Integration & External Impact
- Market Ambassadorship: Serve as the primary face of the brand in your community, building a local ecosystem of partners, leaders, and influencers.
- Strategic Event Planning & Execution: Curate brand-elevating experiences with strict ROI requirements, driving measurable traffic and guest acquisition.
- Data-Driven ROI & Performance Reporting: Track and report event performance, including sales impact, new guest acquisition, data capture, and conversion to the Appointment Business pipeline.
- Brand Evolution & Strategic Contribution: Contribute to global growth by leading stretch assignments, participating in cross-functional task forces, and providing field-level insights.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in retail or hospitality leadership with proven P&L accountability and community-based marketing results.

- Scheduling:
- Consistent weekend presence required to coach the team during peak hours.
- Open availability for nights, weekends, and holidays to support peak traffic.
- One weekend off per month for leaders who maintain a high-performing "ready-now" bench.
- Physicality & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per shift and maneuver the sales floor and back-of-house.
- Ability to climb ladders, reach, bend, and kneel for visual merchandising and inventory tasks.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and move boxes or product weighing at least 40 lbs.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with quick pivots between tasks.
- Sensory awareness to inspect product quality, fabrication, and styling details.
