Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

About the role

The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store. They oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. They also drive profitability, develop the skills of the entire store team, and ensure customers are well taken care of.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Maintain high retention by focusing on identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging employee productivity.
• Oversee and implement all merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to affect change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote our rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
• Show proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience.
• A valid Driver’s License from the state of residence while maintaining automotive liability insurance during course of employment.
• The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$13.00 - $18.75 per hour
