Store Counter Sales (Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family. As a NAPA Counter Sales Associate, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing them with automotive parts solutions both in-store and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and helpful information about auto parts to both retail and wholesale customers
• Assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions
• Engage customers to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Utilize technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and paper catalogs

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great listening skills and empathy for customers

Qualifications

• Technical or trade school courses or degrees in automotive-related fields are a plus
• Experience with cataloging and inventory management systems is a plus
• Background or passion for the automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership
• ASE certifications are a plus

Pay

The starting hourly rate for this position is $16. Pay progression is possible within 12 months of hire.
