Store Associate - Full-Time

About the role

Join our team as a Retail Store Associate and contribute to feeding communities by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining store operations. Your key responsibilities include restocking shelves, slicing deli meats, receiving products, assisting customers, and processing transactions, all while ensuring a clean and inviting environment. You will help foster a sense of community through friendly interactions and efficient store management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and professional customer assistance.
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions through stocking, cleaning, and product rotation.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of store areas.
• Minimize shrinkage by resolving pricing discrepancies promptly.
• Operate and maintain equipment properly.
• Follow food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Assist in other departments as needed and collaborate on store promotions.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Knowledge of retail store operations is helpful.
• Accurate vision and ability to differentiate products.
• Courteous customer service skills and ability to read.
• Physical stamina for standing, reaching, lifting up to 80 lbs, and other movements.
• Ability to operate various kitchen and store equipment, including slicers, ovens, scales, and computers.
• Some retail experience preferred.
