About the role

Join a team dedicated to feeding communities as a Retail Store Associate, responsible for ensuring smooth store operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Your duties include restocking shelves, slicing deli meats, receiving products, assisting customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, inviting environment. You will help foster a sense of community through friendly interactions with diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and case conditions, including stocking and cleaning
• Ensure food safety and sanitation in accordance with regulations
• Resolve price discrepancies, operate equipment properly, and assist in other departments as needed
• Support store-wide sales promotions and perform other duties assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills

• Basic retail knowledge; strong customer service skills
• Accurate vision, ability to differentiate products, read, and learn quickly
• Physical ability to stand, reach, lift up to 80 lbs, and operate various equipment
• Experience in retail preferred, with 0-2 years recommended
