Position Responsibilities
- Specific Pick, organize, and prepare components for production jobs.
- Assemble kits according to work orders and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and revisions.
- Ensure kits are complete and delivered to production on schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitting area.
- Able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs. from UPS or FedEx truck etc.
- Detail oriented when receiving Packing Slips and shipping documents.
- Organize material, verifying quantities, lot tracking, receiving material into Syteline and shelving the material using FIFO guidelines.
- Communicate to various groups and individuals when packages have arrived. Solve problems with shipments.
- Label and stock the shelves according to FIFO guidelines.
- Filling Job Order shorts from the Short Board.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory.
- Maintain accurate stock levels.
- Report low inventory or shortages.
- Help with stock rotation and material traceability.
- General Documents actions by completing appropriate Manufacturing and Quality documentation.
- Maintains supply inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level and expiry.
- Anticipate needed supplies. Alert manufacturing Supervisor to place orders for supply replenishment.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work environment by complying with all pertinent rules, procedures, regulations, and policies.
- Performs routine and ad hoc parts inventory counts.
- Records time and activities for kitting Work Orders and any production logs.
Physical Requirements
Adequate comprehension to understand and perform basic arithmetic. Must be dependable, cooperative, motivated, and have good attendance. Must demonstrate the ability to perform Assembly work within Standard Assembly Times.
