Sterile Processing Technician III

Role: Tech III, Sterile Processing, responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of pediatric surgical instruments. Key Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize a variety of surgical tools and specialty sets.Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain washers, sterilizers, and tracking systems.Perform biological and chemical monitoring to ensure proper sterilization processes.Maintain compliance with regulatory standards such as The Joint Commission and AAMI.Collaborate effectively within a team dedicated to patient safety and infection prevention.Mentor junior technicians and promote best practices in sterile processing and infection control. Qualifications And Skills Experience in sterile processing operations, including sterilization equipment and monitoring systems.Strong understanding of regulatory standards and best practices for infection prevention.Ability to troubleshoot and operate sterilization machinery.Excellent teamwork, communication, and mentorship abilities.
