Sterile Processing Technician Full Time Evening

About the role

This position is Full Time and works 8-hour, Evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation under supervision.
• Issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status.
• Responds to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Successfully completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keeps Continuing Education Units (CEU) updated and on file.
• Within 1 year of hire, holds National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association, or National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution.
• At least 2 years of experience in Central Service.
• Experience in general office practices and procedures, purchasing practices, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts.
