Sterile Processing Technician Full Time Night

About the role

This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour, Night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Processes, sterilizes equipment and instrumentation under supervision.
• Issues and receives supplies and equipment according to established procedures.
• Maintains an accurate inventory to reflect a real-time status.
• Responds to all calls for product, equipment and supplies.

Requirements

• Coursework/Training: Successfully completed a recognized Central Service Technician course and keep Continuing Education Units (CEU) updated and on file.
• National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire.
• National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.
• Experience: 2 years in Central Service.
• Experience: Experience in general office practices and procedures, purchasing practices, business ethics and prudent buyer concepts.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
