Responsibilities

• Maintains and cares for all surgical instruments.
• Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Operates all types of sterilizers.
• Demonstrates knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures.
• Applies familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items.
• Adapts quickly to changing patient conditions when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Certification required (CRST, HSPA, CSPDT, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience.
• Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program.

Schedule

Weekdays only—no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call shifts.
