This is a PRN role at Huntersville Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Provide clean, properly packaged, sterile instruments and supplies to meet individual customer needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED, required.
- One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
- Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required.
- CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
Qualifications
- Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.
- Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays.
- Ability to learn and understand medical terminology.
- Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.

4 days a week, 8:00a-12:00p or 9:00a-1:00p Monday-Friday, occasional weekend on call.
