Schedule: Day Shift, 8am-4:30p - Monday through Friday
On-Call: Every 3rd weekend
Department Information
Our Sterile Processing Department is a critical unit responsible for the lifecycle management of medical instruments and equipment for 5 operating rooms. Growing, dynamic unit with opportunities for professional development

What You'll Do
- Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment
- Ensures the instruments and equipment are available
- Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
- Experience: One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.
- Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification.
